Ellen says “Becoming certified isn‘t easy. The process includes taking over 30 exams where you have to demonstrate your expertise in Mailchimp email marketing. I passed my final exam last month. I later discovered I was one of the first certified partners in Yorkshire. To say I was gobsmacked is an understatement.”
As a York-based Email Marketing Agency, we have been offering Mailchimp training, consultancy, and workshops since 2018. Despite the ongoing pandemic, demand for our email marketing services has increased as more organisations look towards digital to survive.
Ellen continues “email marketing looks simple, however, those who contact us have little confidence with digital communications. COVID-19 has made many organisations aware that they have digital skill gaps. This is why I’m launching a series of e-learning modules to help organisations to embrace digital.”
The importance of upskilling
Currently undertaking a Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification with SPA Professional Academy, Ellen feels it’s crucial that more people upskill. Especially as roles are set to increase in tech industries.
Ellen ends “Education plays an important role in society and professional development. This is why it’s important to minimise the effect of shocks and stresses of future events. The pandemic has made us all aware of how closely interconnected we are with one another. If one industry falls, it can create a domino effect in other sectors. I hope by upskilling businesses and charities in Mailchimp marketing that I can help them to grow, thrive and blossom.”
