Awesome Women in Business
Established in late 2019, Awesome Women in Business takes place once a month in different locations across the city centre of York. The networking events are free to attend, however, tickets do have to be reserved beforehand. Click here to find out more.
There are several BNI groups in York, which you might find useful for your business. BNI is a business referral organisation and the aim of the group is to generate referrals for other businesses within your group. Taking place at All Bar One on New Street, Eboracum Networking was formed in late 2018 and is a free-admission business networking event which offers you the opportunity to meet other business owners from across the city. A simple, informal and friendly networking group, First Thursday is one of the biggest and well-attended events in York. The events take place on the first Thursday of the month at The Biltmore Bar and Grill on Swinegate and bring together a diverse range of business owners, managers, traders and more.
First Thursday is free to attend, however, tickets need to be pre-booked via Eventbrite.
Give Back Works
A relaxed and regular event, Give Back Works is a well-known organisation which provides networking, training and marketing opportunities to business owners of all shapes and sizes.
The events attract a broad spectrum of businesses including national corporates, sole-traders as well as local independent businesses.

A monthly evening networking event taking place at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, WMB brings together a number of businesswomen and business leaders from a wide range of sectors, including health, beauty, food, drink, fitness plus more. A structured lunchtime networking group with a national reputation, York Business Network is accessible for all and takes place once a month at the Novotel in York.
